Tonight I was suddenly overcome by a bit of poetic creativity, and in a matter of minutes a little bit of not-necessarily-witty-but-true poetry poured out. WARNING: It was never intended to score an A+ for political correctness, and line #3 in particular could fail that test in many quarters, perhaps to the point of criminality in the brave new EUSSR. Politically incorrect; poetically eloquent? :P

I so want to marry an Aussie girl
The right girl
A white girl
I so want to be at her side
A truth to face I cannot hide
I so want to marry an Aussie girl
With her the future's all mine

I so want to live in liberty
A free land
For me and
I so want political security
Free of Soviet-style impurity
I so want to live in liberty
For a democrat I be

I so want to marry an Aussie girl
The right girl
A white girl
I so want to be in her life
A perfect world all free of strife
